The house at 212 Kent Street here in Winchester, Va, is a standing metaphor for the mission of this church. It is in a state of disrepair, damaged by fire years ago. It is an eyesore that most residents have grown accustomed to and summarily ignore as they pass by. Popular opinion says to level it and build anew.

But doing what is popular and what we feel is right aren't always the same thing. And since Another Chance Church doesn't own it, that option is not available to us anyway. However, it is within our power to breath new life into this house. To bring it up to code and make it more than just habitable again.

To make it a home.

A home for women without a home. That is our vision.
